Do we really have to talk about childhood?
No, not necessarily. But what repeats today often had a first time.
It is the question I am asked most often, sometimes with a sigh. The answer is no: we start from what weighs on you today.
Why it comes up anyway
A relationship that always goes the same way, anger out of proportion, a fear of disappointing: these repetitions have a logic. Understanding where they come from excuses nothing, but it gives room to choose differently.
